Paper Share Sign Ups are Coming ~ In honor of the new Holiday Mini Catalog launch I will be preparing a fabulous Paper Share for you. Sign ups will be ready soon and you will have the opportunity to receive ALL of the amazing new paper at a discounted price!! Stay tuned and get ready to sign up. You won’t want to miss this share. I’ve seen the new designer series papers and they are probably the best ever!

Card Swap ~ When is the last time you participated in a Card Swap? Or maybe you’ve never tried it? This is a completely free event (you just pay for mailing your cards to me for swapping.) If you’re not familiar, it is something that Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators do all the time. I thought it would be fun to open it up to EVERYONE. So, anyone who would like to participate is welcome!

The concept is simple. Everyone makes 10 cards (all the same.) You mail them to me, I sort them and then I will mail back to you a packet of 10 cards that were all handmade by your fellow participants. So you will receive 10 beautifully handmade cards from friends around the Country. If this sounds like fun to you, be on the look out for the sign up in late August.

So, that is a LOT of Good Stuff!

Handmade Shoppers Update

A note to my friends… (part 4 ~ Handmade Shopper Friends)

Well, we’re almost finished with July. Where does the time go? 

It has been VERY warm here in Northern California and I have been inside with the air conditioning on most of the time. However, when I play outside, there needs to be some water involved, because it is HOT. So, I’ve spent a little bit of time in the pool and have taken a couple river rafting trips!!!!

Spending time on the river is my favorite thing to do, so I may be going again tomorrow! Crossing my fingers….

Now, just for you My Handmade Shoppers…

My little factory is still in business and I appreciate everyone who has stopped by to buy a Handmade Candle or two. I make small items in large batches, so when my handmade products are released to my shop they don’t last long. Large batches for this girl are usually 20-40 products at a time. Candles for instance take multiple days for me to prep and pour and I typically make 4-6 different scents, with only 8-12 candles per scent. After each scent has cured I will package them and work on the next scent, so it is a big time commitment. Each collection is made with patience and love. 

Some great news ~ my Summer Dreams Collection is going to be launched in just a few days! I hope you’re excited ~ Because I am thrilled! Stay tuned for additional details coming soon.

Some even better news is all of the amazing products I have been working on! I have been a creative, crafting, crazy person! I’ve designed and made prototypes, sent samples to family and friends and you are in for some amazing new products.

Shopping Hangover? or “No Spend” Success?

Are You Okay? Ready for More Deals?

Whew…  We made it… I must admit I had a Shopping Hangover yesterday. But it was totally worth it right?

Did you take advantage of any of the Amazon Prime Day sales? What did you get? How about the HSN 24 Hr Craft Event? As you may have noticed it was extended to 26 Hours this time! Wowza. Please feel free to share your thoughts and shopping hauls via email or by commenting. I would love to hear how you did. Or even if you’re on a “No Spend” did you watch any of the deals? Did you break your “No Spend” rule or were you good?

I was not a Good Girl. Although, I had been “window” shopping for a couple weeks in advance, I did buy a little more than I had anticipated. But the good news is that I do not feel guilty and I did not spend more than I could afford! That is very important to me. I have saved up for several of these items and was patient enough to wait for these sales so I could get the best pricing possible and I feel it was a very well thought out plan. Amazon Prime Day Guide 2019

Unless You’ve Been Hiding Under a ROCK ~ You have heard all the hype about Amazon’s Prime Day starting tomorrow, July 15, 2019, right?

I don’t know why… but somehow I’m just not as excited about it this year? But you bet I will be shopping and looking for any special deals. So, as I’ve been Pre-Browsing and checking out some of the Early Access Deals I thought about some key tips I could share with you. So here are my top tips, some highlights and a Guide for shopping.

  1. My mental guidelines going into this huge shopping event are…
  2. I have a limited budget, so I need to take it easy, right?
  3. If I don’t NEED it, I shouldn’t BUY it, you got this one too, ya?
  4. However, if you’re like me, you immediately can find a way to “Justify” any purchase that is not needed but you just want it, am I Right Again?! So once I skip my guidelines 1 through 3, I move on to Justification Excuse a. b. and c.
    • If it is something I want, will I use it?
    • Do I have an immediate need/purpose for it?
    • How much money is this taking away from something more relevant like bills, savings account or even a more relevant purchase or experience, like maybe dinner out with my mom or a girlfriend?

Eventually, I make it through my list, and if I cannot contain myself, I just buy it and hopefully do not feel any guilt because it is a good purchase, at a good value and I utilize whatever it is I HAD to have. You’re agreeing with me and nodding your head here I bet.
