Are You Okay? Ready for More Deals?

Whew… We made it… I must admit I had a Shopping Hangover yesterday. But it was totally worth it right?

Did you take advantage of any of the Amazon Prime Day sales? What did you get? How about the HSN 24 Hr Craft Event? As you may have noticed it was extended to 26 Hours this time! Wowza. Please feel free to share your thoughts and shopping hauls via email or by commenting. I would love to hear how you did. Or even if you’re on a “No Spend” did you watch any of the deals? Did you break your “No Spend” rule or were you good?

I was not a Good Girl. Although, I had been “window” shopping for a couple weeks in advance, I did buy a little more than I had anticipated. But the good news is that I do not feel guilty and I did not spend more than I could afford! That is very important to me. I have saved up for several of these items and was patient enough to wait for these sales so I could get the best pricing possible and I feel it was a very well thought out plan. Well, except for a couple extra little items that landed in my shopping cart at the last minute! 😊

Amazon Prime Day Guide 2019

Unless You’ve Been Hiding Under a ROCK ~ You have heard all the hype about Amazon’s Prime Day starting tomorrow, July 15, 2019, right?

I don’t know why… but somehow I’m just not as excited about it this year? But you bet I will be shopping and looking for any special deals. So, as I’ve been Pre-Browsing and checking out some of the Early Access Deals I thought about some key tips I could share with you. So here are my top tips, some highlights and a Guide for shopping.

My mental guidelines going into this huge shopping event are…
I have a limited budget, so I need to take it easy, right?
If I don’t NEED it, I shouldn’t BUY it, you got this one too, ya?
However, if you’re like me, you immediately can find a way to “Justify” any purchase that is not needed but you just want it, am I Right Again?! So once I skip my guidelines 1 through 3, I move on to Justification Excuse a. b. and c.
- If it is something I want, will I use it?
- Do I have an immediate need/purpose for it?
- How much money is this taking away from something more relevant like bills, savings account or even a more relevant purchase or experience, like maybe dinner out with my mom or a girlfriend?

Eventually, I make it through my list, and if I cannot contain myself, I just buy it and hopefully do not feel any guilt because it is a good purchase, at a good value and I utilize whatever it is I HAD to have. You’re agreeing with me and nodding your head here I bet.

Why Tonic Nuvo Drops are My Favorite, Using Liquid Embellishments, Swatching & Organizing

Tonic Nuvo Drops and a FREE Template for You

Hello friends. Here is a quick rundown on Tonic Nuvo Drops, Liquid Pearls along with other Liquid Embellishments like Enamel Accents and Stickles. I cover how I swatch mine, organize them and share with you why Tonic Nuvo Drops are my Favorite! I will also share the FREE Template for Swatches I created for you to easily view your color collections and organize your liquid embellishments.

Ranger Liquid Pearls

First up are a couple of the Ranger Liquid Pearls. I only have 3, Gold, White and Silver and they work great. Accept when they CLOG! Yes, the dreaded clog happened. Unfortunately, when I used a long sewing needle to unclog it, the dried clog just keeps coming back to the top and I can no longer get any of the liquid pearls out of the bottle. So my bottle of silver is going into the trash. I only used it maybe twice over the past 8 months. Bummer.

Studio G Glitter Glue

Next up is the Studio G in Red, White and Hot Pink. Super cute colors, lots of GLITTER and they are actually a Glitter Glue so they’re multi-functional. I really like these and they were on sale at Michael’s for maybe 50 Cents each around Valentine’s Day. No clogs and they swatched really well. I have only used these once but have more plans for them in the future.

Tonic Nuvo Drops

Last up is my Tonic Nuvo Drops. These are by far my favorite. I love these because there is such a large variety of colors and finishes. You can buy Glitter (Nuvo Drops Glitter), Shimmer (Nuvo Crystal Drops), Translucent (Clear and Nuvo Crystal Glace) and Solid (Nuvo Glossy Drops).

And hey, what about these bottles?! They’re just Bling for your Craft Room Yay?!! However, I think best of all is the bottles functional ability. I have a pretty small collection of Nuvo Drops, maybe 30 bottles. Out of all of these bottles, that I have used pretty infrequently over the past 8 months, only ONE gave me the dreaded CLOG. Yes. I got a Clog here too. Unlike the Ranger Liquid Pearls…. The Tonic Nuvo Drops have a detachable tip. So when I again tried my sewing needle to unclog it and that didn’t work… I was able to take the tip off and completely clear out the clog and very easily continue using my drops!!! This to me is a WIN and makes it worth the investment of a couple dollars per bottle!!

I am now a Tonic Nuvo Drops Girl for sure!

Welcome New Friends and Hello

I know! This is NOT your first Policy Update email/post and I’m sure it won’t be the last. My In Box has been flooded for the past two weeks. It is overwhelming, and for this I am apologetic for adding yet, one more notification. However, it does give me a chance to reach out and say hello!

So, Hello to my Friends and Welcome to Larri’s Livin’ Lite! If you are new here you may have found me on my YouTube Channel where I share Plan with Me videos, tutorials and shopping hauls. I focus on Free Printable Planner Stickers and provide links to many of the awesome designers and resources I’ve found all over the web. I also share budget-friendly and DIY planner materials, integrating Cricut machines for cutting your free printables and am working on a few series for Sticker Cutting with Your Cricut and even a great series on Functional Planning Techniques, so please stay tuned for some great ideas.

What else does Larri do? There are so many other fun things to cover…

I have been sort of offline for most of May as my father was in the hospital for almost 20 days!! Then my uncle passed… so although I have not been uploading new videos and chatting on social media, the ideas and some content recording has still been happening in the background.

Now it is time for me to catch up on sharing this content. I will always have a Plan with Me video uploaded on Fridays. Throughout the rest of the week I will sprinkle a little here and there on many of the topics already mentioned, so please be sure to Watch, Love and Subscribe for all the great Fun and Functional Tips, Tricks and Tutorials.
